1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account. When you use Focalyn to run campaigns, we process publicly available business data (business names, addresses, websites, phone numbers) from Google Maps and public web pages. We collect usage data such as campaign activity, leads generated, and feature usage to improve the service. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and operate the Focalyn service; process payments and manage your subscription; send you product updates, billing notifications, and support responses; improve and debug the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data We Process on Your Behalf

When you run a prospecting campaign, Focalyn discovers and enriches publicly available data about local businesses. This data is stored in your account and visible only to you. You are responsible for how you use this data in your outreach and must comply with applicable anti-spam laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).

4. Data Sharing

We share data with the following service providers: Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Railway (server hosting for the enrichment worker), and Anthropic (AI enrichment via Claude API). Each provider processes only the data necessary for their function and is bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. Lead data discovered during your campaigns is retained until you delete it or close your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@focalyn.co. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Focalyn uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking on the main application.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) so each user can only access their own data, and Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure for payments.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the application. Continued use of Focalyn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
